St. Mary-le-Wigford is located at the junctions of St Mary's Street, Wigford Way and the High Street. The Church stands in the City centre on the High Street next to Lincoln Central Railway Station & the High Street Railway Crossing. It is just a 5 / 10 minute walk from the University.
There is no parking at the Church or on the roads around the Church, however there are plenty of pay & display car parks in the City centre within walking distances of the Church.

Access into the tower is via the main Church door. The bells are rung from upstairs and are tuned as the front four (1 to 4) of a ring of 6. They handle very well and are very easy to ring.
The bells were rehung in 1932 by John Taylor & Co of Loughborough, Leicestershire. They were rehung on ball bearings and metal headstocks in a new low sided cast iron frame lower in the tower. The original wooden frame dating from the 1600's is preserved in situ above the bells. All the bells retain their cannons and they are the oldest ringing peal of bells in the City.
